Large Octavo. 189 pages including Index. Hardcover. Bound in black cloth-covered boards and stamped in silver gilt. Includes music and carts along with instructions of 18th and 19th century dance. DJ is in black and white.

Condition: VG in vg dust jacket. DJ is unclipped but has a one inch closed tear and is protected by a Brodart. Book is tight and solid with no major issues except for scattered foxing.  Overall, a nice copy. Please excuse the shadow on the photo of the front cover.

Melusine Wood was an historian of dance and a historical dance consultant to several movies. She published a number of works on historical dance.
