When Joh. Jacob Stahl Sr. was born on 8 January 1697, in Lambsheim, Frankenthal, Bavaria, Germany, his father, Joh. Valetin Stahl, was 32 and his mother, Anna Maria Kühlwein, was 34. He had at least 5 sons and 2 daughters with Anna Maria Strupp. He immigrated to Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, British Colonial America in 1738 and lived in Lambsheim, Ludwigshafen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany in 1721. He died on 2 September 1786, in Northampton, Pennsylvania, United States, at the age of 89. – FamilySearch
